CITIES OF WOMEN/Cover Reveal

After many months of manuscript preparation, line-editing, and proof-reading, the Advance Readers’ Copies (ARCs) of my forthcoming novel, CITIES OF WOMEN, are finally available for distribution to reviewers, book influencers, podcasters, and others in the world of book publicity.

I’ve already had several requests from reviewers in the US and the UK, which makes me excited, and more than a little nervous, about the upcoming launch of the book—September 5, 2023

But the big news today is the cover release!

I’m thrilled with what the design folks at @FaceoutStudio and my publisher @TurnerPub have created to represent the novel’s best foot forward. The cover captures elements of the story, alluding with imagery and color to Christine de Pizan’s medieval illuminated manuscripts, which lie at the heart of the novel.

For this cover release, my beloved spouse, Amy, amplified the beautiful graphics from the cover with touches of movement and song (Gregorian Chants) featured in the novel, when the protagonist, Verity Frazier, visits Lacock Abbey.

No spoilers! You’ll have to read the novel to find out why Verity visits the Abbey, with whom, and what she discovers there!
